Chantal Marchand

Chantal is originally from Canada, where she obtained a bachelor’s degree in business mathematics and computer science at the University of Montreal.
In 2003, Chantal moved to the Netherlands to be with the love of her life.
She has been a happy member of I-TeQ’s development team since 2014, and finds enough challenges every day to keep her work fun and interesting.

Chantal is good at solving problems. No matter how deep she has to delve into the code, she won’t stop until everything is working properly again. Sometimes that means brainstorming with colleagues and thinking ‘out of the box’; all ideas and opinions are welcome!

By performing code reviews, Chantal also helps to keep the writing style on point. Chantal is versatile and can quickly find her way around various custom packages.
When she’s not at work, Chantal relaxes by engaging in a variety of creative hobbies, such as crocheting amigurumi, scrapbooking, and baking desserts. Her colleagues are lucky, because there are always leftovers for a treat at work!
